Chain and string necklace.

This necklace is made of string and box chain which is a very nice idea for making a statement jewelry.

Materials and tools:

• strings
• Gold chain
• Clasp
• Jump rings
• Wire cutter
• Scissors

Full instructions:

Step 1: prepare the top end of necklace

Snip a strand of chain whose length can just suit your neck;
Snip 30 strands of strings, each measuring twice length of the chain; align the strings into 2 groups evenly;

Step 2: braid strings with chain
Thread right group through the first link from underneath, cross left group over it and tighten the strings; continue threading and braiding.

Step 3: attach clasp on
When the braiding reaches the end of chain, make a firm knot through the last link and trim off excess strings;
Then attach clasp on by jump rings.
There're you go :) you just finish your necklace. Hope you find it usefull.
